Yes, held sideways. The wilds have a thumb stick and buttons for striking, dodging and raising your shield, and the journal works with taps. A computer with a mouse and keyboard gives you the most control.

Not to start. You play as a guest at first; after a few minutes the village register asks for a username and a password, then a name for your hero, and your hero is kept on the server from then on. You can also sign up or sign in here: it is one account for the game and this site, and you stay signed in until you sign out or clear your cookies. Your username is private; your hero's name is the one others see.

When you sign the register, the game gives you a recovery key: sixteen letters and digits to write down and keep. On the sign-in card choose Forgot your password?, and your username and the key set a new password (or use this site: Forgot your password?). The key is then used up and you are given a new one. Signed in, you can ask for a new key at any time (Settings, then Online, then Recovery). Lost both the password and the key? Write to us from the address below with your hero's name.

Everything of value is decided on the game's server: what a beast drops, what the forge makes, what you are paid. An edited save is put back, and nobody can play faster than the game allows. Report anything odd to us.

The game is in English.

We keep only what the game needs: your hero's name, a hash of your password (never the password itself) and your hero's progress. There is no advertising and nothing that follows you around: visits are only counted in total. See the privacy notice.
